RodaRead operates as a private, assistive productivity platform that allows users to upload their personal study materials, digital books, and notes to generate synthetic text-to-speech audio for private listening. User files are stored in private, isolated storage and are not indexed, published, or made publicly searchable to other users.

2. Filing a DMCA Notice of Copyright Infringement

If you are a copyright owner, or an authorized representative thereof, and believe that material residing on or accessible through RodaRead infringes your copyright, please submit a formal written notice containing the following details to our designated agent:

1. Identification of the Copyrighted Work: A clear description of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, including title, author, or registration details.
2. Identification of the Infringing Material: Specific information reasonably sufficient to allow us to locate the material (e.g., exact document title, user identifier, or source link).
3. Contact Information: Your full legal name, company/publisher name (if applicable), mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
4. Good Faith Statement: A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
5. Accuracy & Perjury Statement: A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner.
6. Signature: A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized representative.

Upon receipt of a bona fide, complete copyright notice, RodaRead will promptly remove or disable access to the infringing material and notify the affected user.

If a user believes that their document was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification (e.g., they hold a valid license or lawful educational fair-use right), they may submit a written Counter-Notification containing:

• The user's physical or electronic signature.
• Identification of the material that has been removed and the location at which it previously appeared.
• A statement under penalty of perjury that the user has a good faith belief that the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.
• The user's full name, address, phone number, and consent to local jurisdiction.

5. Repeat Infringer Policy

In accordance with the DMCA and platform safety standards, RodaRead maintains a strict Repeat Infringer Policy. Accounts of users who repeatedly upload infringing content or receive multiple confirmed copyright complaints will be permanently terminated, and access to all synthesis features will be revoked without refund.
